Status Update: Disciplinary Confinement Extended
Supporters,
We have received confirmation from Union CI that Wade’s disciplinary confinement has been extended and is now set to end in June due to another disciplinary report.
Periods of confinement can be especially difficult. During times like this, support from the outside world becomes even more meaningful. Letters, encouragement, and the continued presence of supporters remind Wade that he is not facing this time alone.
We remain committed to sharing confirmed updates when appropriate and continuing to stand beside him through each step of this process.
Please continue to send Wade letters and messages of encouragement. Support from the outside means more than many people realize, especially during periods of confinement.

For those who are interested in learning more about the broader research surrounding restrictive housing and the psychological impact of isolation, we have also provided a comprehensive research overview here:
Impact of Isolation – Research Overview
This report examines the documented effects of prolonged isolation on mental health, cognitive functioning, and human well-being within prison environments. Research consistently shows that extended restrictive housing can increase anxiety, depression, sleep disruption, and cognitive strain, particularly as the duration of isolation increases.
Thank you for continuing to stand with Wade.
